stay tuned for updates
Greetings from Down Under, Australia!
G'day mate, I have been here with the koalas and kangaroos since January 2020, when I sat down to pen my story. Nine months later, my book was published in September 2020. Thanks for taking the time to visit this website.
Please note that I am no longer active on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, as my social media accounts were compromised. While I regret losing contact with all my followers, the transition has afforded a welcome reduction in screen time. For ongoing updates, I invite you to follow my author page on GOODREADS dot com, where future news and publications will be shared.
*Please kindly note that I will NEVER ask for donations of any kind from any individual, company, corporation, or entity. I do NOT solicit or offer employment or paid services of any kind. Any individual claiming otherwise is acting without my knowledge or consent or may be impersonating my identity on social media or other platforms. I remain committed to conducting myself with the highest standard of integrity in character, conduct, and communication. That said, I always strive to acknowledge, thank, and give credit where and when it is duly earned.
THANK YOU!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my webpage to learn more about my journey as an artist, sailor, and now author. I consider myself a multifaceted individual—much like an onion with endless layers to uncover. Over time, I have come to realize that life can change in an instant, often through what I believe to be divine intervention—shifting one from a place of waiting to a place of walking in purpose.
I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to my fellow seafarers and crewmates across the globe, particularly those in the cruise industry. Your support is truly appreciated. With this publication, The Untold Tales of a Sailor at Sea, your voices are finally being recognized and heard.
This publication is now available in your country. I invite you to get your copy and discover the stories that shed light on life at sea from a seldom-heard perspective.

Happy Seafarer Day!
On 25 June, the global maritime community comes together to celebrate the Day of the Seafarer. This year, we launched the campaign 'My Harassment-Free Ship,' a bold initiative to promote a culture of respect and zero tolerance for bullying and harassment at sea.
Building a Future of Respect at Sea
The Day of the Seafarer 2025 is more than a celebration—it’s a call for action. 'My Harassment-Free Ship' is about changing the maritime culture to one where every seafarer feels safe, valued, and protected at sea. Visit IMO.org to access campaign materials, and join us in making every ship a harassment-free workplace. Together, we can create a safer maritime industry.

This year's awards ceremony marked the inaugural event for the mission's new secretary general, the Venerable Dr. Peter Rouch. 500 maritime professionals across the globe gathered as guests to congratulate the winners of the Seafarers Awards Singapore 2024 and showcase the industry's unwavering commitment to celebrating and recognizing the extraordinary efforts by individuals and organizations in support of seafarers.
Special thanks to all seafarers who bring goods, including tourism, to ports in every continent, and sacrifices are made by every seafarer. Congratulations to the recipient BIGYELLOWFISH of the INNOVATION AWARD- a company that embraced a new program, project, or training that has enhanced seafarers' welfare.

He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. John 8:7 KVJ
CONVICTION
Have you ever felt the weight of conviction in your heart or mind? Perhaps it came during a moment of desperation—when you were hungry, thirsty, or tempted by something you knew wasn't right.
The examples shared here—though not all drawn from my own life—reflect true stories I’ve witnessed. Some may challenge Christian or religious values. That is intentional. These stories illustrate how people, especially those living difficult or isolated lives such as seafarers, often face deep inner conflicts.
Conviction isn't always black and white. In the world of cruising and maritime work, moral lines are sometimes blurred by hunger, isolation, or the need to survive. This isn't to excuse actions that go against one’s values but to show the human reality behind them.
By sharing these experiences, I hope to invite greater understanding and compassion. Before casting stones, may we first examine our own hearts.

Happy Seafarer Day!
June 25th is known worldwide as the DAY OF THE SEAFARER in the maritime industry. To honor seafarers and their contributions to global trade, the United Nations has designated June 25th as International Day of the Seafarer. The day is a time to celebrate seafarers, their dedication, and their sacrifices.
Every year on June 25th, the Day of the Seafarer recognizes the valuable contribution seafarers make to international trade and the world economy. Seafarers regularly travel by sea and are commonly called sailors. Many seafarers work in the shipping industry and are responsible for about 90 percent of world trade.
Happy National Maritime Day!
National Maritime Day is a time-honored tradition that recognizes one of America's most important industries. Each year, ceremonies and celebrations throughout the country are held on May 22nd. The Congress, by joint resolution approved May 20, 1933, has designated May 22 of each year as National Maritime Day to commemorate the first transoceanic voyage by steamship by the S.S. Savannah. On National Maritime Day, we honor the thousands of dedicated merchant mariners who serve on United States vessels around the world. During times of both peace and war, merchant mariners are always there — stepping up to transport equipment, troops, and goods across the globe to make our country safer and stronger.
World Maritime Day is celebrated and recognized by the UN on September 28th. Thank a seafarer today, as they not only make sacrifices but also bring goods to the shores of each continent.

THE SIX was released April 16th, 2021
The next most anticipated worldwide blockbuster!
The TITANIC story continues—and this time, the TRUTH is told.
Did you enjoy Titanic, the iconic film and its unforgettable fictional love story? What if we told you that a part of the real Titanic story remained untold for over 100 years? The Six reveals the long-overlooked truth about six Chinese survivors of the Titanic. For 109 years, their stories were erased from the history book—and absent from James Cameron's 1997 film. Now, their voices are finally being heard.
This powerful documentary sheds light not only on their survival but also on the discrimination they faced in its aftermath—reminding us that injustice and prejudice have long existed at sea. If you are drawn to real-life accounts and want to understand more about life aboard ships, check out the publication below, which is another compelling work that explores the hidden stories of seafarers around the world.
The Six is coming soon to your country and theaters worldwide. Don't miss this important chapter of maritime history.
Crimes and Discrimination still exists at sea. Read all about this passenger who turned into a crew member and she also experiences crimes and discrimination today in the cruise industry. Even 109 years later, the same systemic issues still exist at sea and on land. Click on images for direct link.

Seafarers Keep our Economy Afloat
The Mission to Seafarers provides help and support to the 1.89 million crewmen and women who face danger every day to keep our global economy afloat. Seafarers are responsible for transporting over 90% of the world's goods and fuels, including visitors and tourists, to the shores of each continent.
Cruises represent one of the main segments of the leisure travel and tourism sector, operating in many regions across the globe, from the Mediterranean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. In 2022, the cruise industry revenue worldwide amounted to nearly 19 billion U.S. dollars, rising significantly compared to the first two years of the global pandemic but remaining below pre-pandemic levels. The United States, with its long coastlines and access to many nearby ports in the tropical Caribbean Sea, is the world’s leader in cruise revenue.
The Mission to Seafarers works tirelessly day and night for 365 days per year. The mission is on call, providing help for seafarers in over 200 ports around the world. Seafarers need our help because they are often working in dangerous conditions, with no one else to turn to. Our port chaplains send us stories about the seamen and women they support, and we tailor our help to each and every one of them.
Women make up less than 2% of the global workforce at sea. More visible, one might suppose, as they stand out from the men. But that is not the case. Rather, all too often they live a hidden life, with few or no peers to ‘see’ what is really going on. And when they suffer abuse, that abuse can go unseen.
Sexual harassment and intimidation sit alongside the common stresses of the seafaring life for many women on ships, where they are made to feel unwelcome by some shipboard colleagues or are actively antagonized or targeted with hostility by others.
This publication, The Untold Tales of a Sailor at Sea, illustrates the firsthand experiences of such challenges women and seafarers encounter at sea. The collective voices of worldwide seafarers are heard in this moving publication.
